This was a ride part of the way home from Somerset, starting just before sunrise and finishing around dusk. I was expecting it to be cold (it was) but hoped that this would be tempered by a day of sunshine (it wasn't). Instead of the sun I suffered through freezing fog for probably around 5 hours in total - although a sunny finish made things a bit better!
