Tour of Britain visits Norfolk again in 2011

Stage 7 of the Tour of Britain started in Bury St Edmunds and finished in Sandringham, going through many beautiful villages and even through a few parks along the way!

The closest it came to the north0east corner of Norfolk was Reepham, straight through the main street. A breakaway of six riders came through several minutes ahead of the main group, and ended up staying away to the end - a rare event in the highly regulated world of pro bike racing.

One of the Police outriders even had a sense of humour, having just gotten drenched in a rainstorm:
