Recent rain made the going quite soft on the Mount Bures course around Cambridge Brook, at Masters Farm. On the day it was mild and mostly dry with smatterings of light rain, but with a strong, drying wind - stopping the races from turning into a mud-bath. There was quite a lot of mud pick-up in the high woods section, but most of this was flicked off on the open, grassy downhill stretch. All round, a great course.
