Mobile calls to 0800 Numbers

Something I've learnt recently is to take nothing for granted with your 'inclusive' minutes on your mobile contract. One thing I would have thought would be on my included minutes are 08** numbers (such as 0800 and 0845, freephone and local rate, respectively).

Unbelievably, both are billed at an exorbitant rate of 17p/min!

Whatever you do, try to avoid calling 08* numbers and try to find a regular landline number instead. The only landline calls that count for your inclusive minutes must start with 01, 02 or 03. All calls to mobile phones within the UK are also included, of course.
