The bill H.R.5252 is sponsored by John Spratt and has been referred to House Energy and Commerce (May 6). Its purpose is to amend the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, to provide incentives for the development of solar energy.
It applies to the extension of grants for specified energy property in lieu of tax credits.
