These are called Fork Biscuits


  • 50g caster sugar
  • 115g margarine/butter (softened)
  • grated orange/lemon rind
  • 140g self-raising flour

Beat the sugar into the marg/sugar. Add the citrus, and work in the flour. Optionally replace flour with up to 30g of powdered chocolate.

Make ball shapes, pop on a baking sheet and flatten (with a wettened fork).

Bake in an oven (pre-heated to 180°C) for 15 - 20 minutes.
