Revolution Cross

Location: Colchester CO3 3LE, United Kingdom

Really good course prepared by Dave Hales and VC Revolution, with lots of changes over previous years. It was unseasonably warm, and windy, but rain was threatened all day. The under-10s and under-12s were subjected to heavy drizzle, but the rest of the day stayed dry.

My ride in the vet40's race was error-strewn, with a careless slide and taking a couple of turns too quickly - and just before the end I jammed my chain and had to stop and free it up. Overall though, a really nice course to ride with plenty of opportunities to put the power down.
