Iceni Old Buckenham Cross (inc Regional Champs)

Location: Old Buckenham, Attleborough NR17 1PP, UK

For once the weather was sunny and dry in the afternoon - but only after a couple of very heavy rain showers in the morning, making conditions terrible for the youth and making the course extremely muddy for all the remaining races. Results on the Eastern Cross website.

Under-12s and under-10s races

The first two races were a bit wet, but not too challenging.

Youth race

This was the monsoon race. Well done to all the youngsters for lasting the course!

Vet-50 race

Despite the rain having stopped, the course was getting increasingly destroyed during this race.

Senior/Junior race

Much of the ground was drying out by the last race of the day, but there was an awful lot of "peanut butter" material that clogged up the bikes. The pits were very busy...
