Location: Ada Cole Avenue, Snetterton NR16 2LP, United Kingdom
Overnight temperatures of -4℃ made racing fast and bumpy for the under-10s and under-12s races, and they put in faster lap times than expected on a longer, less technical course than in previous years. There was bright sunshine and hardly a breath of wind all day, and the grassy surfaces got progressively more slippery as mud sat on top of frozen ground. There were lots of fallers in the later races, but no need for the assistance of first aid medics. The double barriers in the arena took the greatest battering, and had to be removed completely for the last race of the day. Results from the Snetterton Cross can be found on the Eastern League website.
This was the last race of the season, and Steve Grimwood (Eastern Cross co-ordinator) presented medals and trophies to the top three racers in each category.
