A lot of rain during the week had made conditions very slippery and muddy in the Furze Hill woods at Mistley, Essex. The mud didn't tend to 'stick' much, but there were lots of grip issues both on the descents and on the numerous climbs.
Youth Race
Dougal Toms (Iceni Velo) completed 5 laps in 33:34, winning the event comfortably ahead of James Tapley (Lee Valley Youth).
Great Yarmouth CC results -
- 10th: Matthew Baker, @1 lap + 4:09
Seniors race
Tim Guy (Iceni Velo) fought off Hayden Wood (unattached) to complete 8 laps in a winning time of 1:02:54.
