Here is my big ride for 2018: cycling from Mundesley (on the North Norfolk coast) to St Davids (western-most point of Wales). I'm doing it in five days, with stops at Stratford-upon-Avon (165 miles), Carmarthen (135 miles), Llanafan (130 miles) and Loughborough (143 miles). The final day, finishing in Mundesley, is 129 miles.
Here's my ride: an Orro Terra SL (recently bought from Dr Wheelgood in North Walsham), a full carbon adventure bike with Ultegra groupset and Fulcrum Racing wheels. I've put on some 25mm Vittoria Rubino Pro G+ tyres which don't suit the bike but are durable and extremely puncture resistant.
Here's the full route I'll be taking:
22 September 2018 (Saturday): DAP CC 10-mile time trial
23 September 2018 (Sunday): Northlands Cross
30 September 2018 (Sunday): VC Revolution Hilly Fields Cross
07 October 2018 (Sunday): Norwich ABC 25-mile time trial
