Green Lanes and muddy paths in Wensum Valley

The excellent folks at Iceni Velo put on a perfect, fun ride around the Wensum Valley in Norfolk. There were three distances on offer, all starting at Lyng village hall, with mixtures of off-road riding and quiet lanes. The best feature was that you could do the middle distance (17 miles) first, ending up very close to the HQ, and decide whether you wanted to continue with the ride and complete the full 30 miles.

I went to the event with Dan, and after we'd started in quite a large group we quickly split up; Dan and I rode with Josun Cole (a young Iceni rider who had helped mark out most of the route).
