Here is the link to Grisoft's Free Antivirus software: AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.5 (link updated 20 August 2009).

The software does nag you every few days to purchase its 'Pro' or 'Internet Security' versions. However, you can simply decline this if you are happy with what the free edition gives you.
