Sending email to gmail accounts

Google is fully supportive of the global migration to IPv6, and it is now enforcing the use of IPv6 PTR records when your server sends emails its way. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126?p=ipv6_authentication_error&rd=1#authentication

You also need to make sure that you have set up the AAAA record in your domain's DNS configuration. You need to set up the PTR record in your web host's control panel; ie, whoever owns your server's IP address, needs to be told to point your IPv6 address at your server's hostname. If your host doesn't allow you to set IPv6 PTR records, you will probably need to configure your server's email sender (eg, postfix or sendmail) to communicate over IPv4 instead, to stop Google rejecting the email.
