CC Breckland 10-mile time trial

Location: Hingham, United Kingdom

After a mild, damp start to the day, the clouds cleared and all 70 riders of this afternoon time trial had bright / sunny conditions. A brisk south-westerly breeze also dried out the road surface. All in all, pretty good conditions for early March!

I'd decided to strip down my TT bike to a fixed wheel configuration, and consequently decided to tow it to the event rather than cycle it there. Here's a video of me towing it:

I had a decent time trial, about 40s up on my previous times for the event. My times in previous years had all been within seconds of each other, so this large jump in speed was a pleasant surprise for me. It's impossible to gauge how much effect my switch to fixed wheel had, but I felt that it suited the conditions and course.
