Fifty riders faced showers and puddles on the A143 in the Sunday morning 50-mile East District Time Trial Champs. Air temperature was mild and there was just a gentle westerly breeze, so conditions were favourable - although the rain saw a few people picking up flint punctures.

Damp conditions today, with a mild westerly breeze, but nothing to slow you down. I felt sluggish because of my cold, but power was reasonable. Had to stop for around a minute to sort out a dropped chain.
