An Olympic standard BMX track has opened at Tipkinder Park in Crewe.

It is floodlit and cost the local Council (plus Ghostriders BMX and Groundwork Cheshire) over £200,000. Shanaze Reade, the nineteen year-old BMX and track star, is from Crewe and may well use the facility for Olympic training.

Pictures of the new track are at Cheshire Ghost Riders website
