North Walsham is an old market town with a thriving market place (old picture above) and lots of quiet lanes all around.

If you want to eat out in North Walsham, you'll be stuck for choice. Within the town itself, there's basically one restaurant, the Prince Of Bengal, an Indian restaurant at 13a, Mundesley Rd. You can call them on 01692 500119. They do not cater for non-smokers.

The church is near Banningham, heading towards the Gunton Estate.
