Edie Sherwood's Boats

Edie Sherwood travelled to Australia on the SS Osterley (postcards shown). It seems unlikely that the Osterley took her onto NZ it must have been one of these other boats

She probably travelled on the "Southern Cross" for part of her journeys (bottom image, postcard print, on this page). She had two copies of this, and also noted "Melanesian Mission" and "Captain Sinker" on the reverses, was that the real Captain's name?

Edie travelled on the R.M.S. Orsova (labeled) from NZ to England.
