A study of VO2 Max

I had my VO2 max measured today, at Loughborough University, and it came out at 67.5, with a max pulse of around 184. Not sure if the oxygen figure is terribly great, but I think it was accurate; I was pretty puffed out afterwards! Thanks to researchers from the uni and to Joanna from the Guardian for performing the tests.

A study by the University of Virginia Health System states that a VO2 max of 70 or above is regarded as athletic; casual exercise is in the 40-50 bracket.
