My Axe Is Broke

My new axe was a Christmas present, and I've swung it no more than fifty times. Upon bashing it, the head stayed in the log as I pulled the handle up. Solid hickory wood, supposed to be the best. Let's hope they believe me that I wasn't overdoing it!
