The Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Anglian Coastal Network is organising a life-skills talk by Lisa Harrison, entitled "Goal directed project management". The fundamentals of successful project management are covered, with practical advice on how to get your project off the ground. Project control is a key area, but issues of planning, organisation and delegation are also covered.

IET members have free entry to the event, on 20 January 2011, at the Alan Rudge Theatre, BP, Martlesham Heath, Ipswich.

More information, and a link to the online registration, are available at http://www.theiet.org/local/uk/east/coastal/project-management.cfm.
