Hargreaves Lansdown has some pointers for Socially Responsible Investments (SRI):
Ethical funds more popular than ever Increased green legislation should create investment opportunities Climate change funds - is the investing environment changing?

SRI: Fund focus

Following extensive ongoing research covering the SRI fund universe, there are currently three socially responsible funds in the Wealth 150, a list of our favourite funds in each sector. Each offers investors something different.

Aegon Ethical Equity

In the recent market volatility it has been very pleasing to see an ethical fund near the top of performance tables.

F&C Stewardship Income

As managers of the longest running ethical unit trust F&C have experienced a wide range of market conditions. They will be the first to admit that recently markets have been tough as the knock-on effect of the sub-prime mortgage crisis is felt across the globe.

Jupiter Ecology

In adversity there is opportunity and the Jupiter team continue to find some excellent investment propositions despite the recent market volatility.
