North Walsham Met Mast Is Up!
We got ourselves into the EDP (Eastern Daily Press) this Saturday, as the weather mast for the North Walsham wind turbine project was erected. This is a major milestone, and will allow Unity Wind to collect a year's wind, temperature and pressure data to prove that the site is ideal for a 2+ MW turbine.
The original plan was for three turbines, but MoD concerns regarding a nearby radar station meant that only one would be possible without further investigations.
