Are you looking for mittens suitable for quickly slipping on when you're attending to the open fire or woodburning stove? If so, you're best off searching for oven gloves, oven gauntlets or oven mitts which perform virtually just as well. Heat resistant gloves are sold by stove retailers, but these have fingers and will be much slower to put on - so you'd be less likely to use them.
