The "Wye Wednesday" is a popular audax event in the region surrounding the River Wye in Kent. There is a choice of two routes: a shorter 100km route and a longer 200km route. Both routes take participants through the scenic countryside of Kent and Sussex, including the South Downs and the Romney Marsh. The routes take cyclists through some of the most picturesque countryside in the UK, with stunning views of the River Wye and the surrounding hills. Along the way, participants must pass through various checkpoints, where their progress is recorded and they can refuel with food and drink. The Wye Wednesday Audax is organized by the Audax Club Hackney.
