It was warm, dry and windy at the first race of the Eastern Cross 2026/27 season. Low profile tyres were the order of the day, but the dusty conditions managed to catch riders out on the numerous off-camber turns. This was the start of a new order in the races, with the open race in the morning and the vet 50's having the last race. Full results on the Eastern Cross website.
Senior/Junior and vet 40-49 races
Photos from the 11:45 race - around 65 riders across all categories.
