Bike Resources in Loughborough

Loughborough is one of those places that's well located for other places (such as Nottingham and Leicester), and as a consequence seems to have no status of its own. However, it is fortunate to be in the heart of rolling hills. This has boosted the popularity of cycling, and probably boosted the strength of local riders as well.

Loughborough Phoenix Cycling Club
Leicester Forest Cycling Club
Nottingham Clarion Wheelers

Coalville Wheelers is without doubt the biggest and most successful in the region, with names like Geoff Platts and Ashley Long regularly taking first places and team prizes.

Not that many in Loughborough itself; Leicester has the lion's share, and Nottingham has a fair few as well.
