What a hot and dusty event! With no rain falling in weeks, occasional sunshine, temperatures nudging 20 degrees C and a strong breeze blowing, the 260 competitors were careful to keep sufficiently hydrated, but could keep speeds high on an unusually dry course.
Under 12's Race
Youth Race
Dougal Toms (Iceni Velo) put in another really strong performance to make two wins out of two in this year's league. Matthew Baker also finished consistently strongly, in 5th place.
50+ Vet's & Women's Race
40-49 Vet's Race
Despite a slow start, Shaun Aldous (Iceni Velo) put in a steady pace to catch and pull away from early leaders Kevin Knox (Vicious Velo) and Matt Webber (Hackney GT) for a convincing - and expected - win.
