2 October 2011: Norwich Sportspark Triathlon

Early on Sunday morning, Julii and three other Great Yarmouth CC team-mates ran in the Norwich Sportspark Triathlon as a 'Rookie Racers' team and finished an outstanding 2nd in a field of 16 teams.

It was run in the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Team Triathlon format, consisting of a 200m swim, a 4.5km cycle and a 1,200m run. These shorter distances put pressure on everyone to do decent transitions, and the GYCC team managed to join everything together.
