If you fancy yourself as a bit of a hobbyist when it comes to PCs, it helps to know where are the best places to shop. You'll need to avoid box-shifting companies if you need that bit of extra advice or confirmation before ordering, or maybe you just want the best prices?

There are a great many suppliers of PCs and discrete computer components, and they naturally vary in terms of quality of service and product range. We can only gauge how well a supplier performs by our individual experiences, so what better way to do that than to have a place to submit your views on a supplier? Anything you post here is of course moderated, and may be edited or removed with no warning; I shall always try to maintain editorial quality, however, and I am completely unaffiliated to any PC/Hardware supplier.
