Bike Mileage Readings for John's Cyclocross Rides

I ride an old Dawes Galaxy touring bike (Reynolds 531 frame) with cantilever brakes and an 8-speed rear cassette.

I removed the Granny ring on the front spider, and sawed its mount points off the spider too - to stop an unshipped chain from getting stuck.

The bike is now sporting a pair of Ksyrium wheels, which may help with the bike's responsiveness.
