Mindstorms NXT 2.0

By 01 Sep 2010 | Comment
The LEGO 8547 Mindstorms NXT 2.0 Robot is now available, and is currently retailing from Amazon for £168! It can be programmed from a PC or Mac, has light and colour sensors, loudspeaker and 100 x 64 pixel LCD display. On a negative note it requires six AA batteries; would have been much better with a lithium-ion pack.

You can also get the Mindstorms NXT 2.0 from Firebox.com.

Do you know what other sensors the Mindstorms robot has?
by Adam on 04 September 2010 Reply
There's quite a variety of sensors available, as far as I know.

Can you be more specific?

I've seen sensors for:

* acceleration and tilt

* compass

* infra-red link

* infra-red sensing

Look at hitechnic.com for more info.
