North Walsham: Some pointers

This is where we moved to in the Summer of 2004. So much for the big city life! Find B&B information here.

Of particular interest to us are the Community Wind Turbines Project, and advice on buying a used car in North Walsham.

North Walsham is an old market town with a thriving market place (old picture above) and lots of quiet lanes all around.

We've picked up some information on B&Bs, which you might find useful if you're ever planning to stay in North Norfolk.

One useful contact in Norfolk is Dave Cottrell, a hard-working removals man from Norwich. His speciality is shifting pianos, but he'll move house for you if you ask nicely. His address is:

If you want to eat out in North Walsham, you'll be stuck for choice. Within the town itself, there's basically one restaurant, the Prince Of Bengal, an Indian restaurant at 13a, Mundesley Rd. You can call them on 01692 500119. They do not cater for non-smokers.
