Rail Layout Software

By 22 Jul 2005 | Comment
Span Software has some layout design software called WinRail 7 that supports 'all scales and gauges'. It runs on all versions of Microsoft Windows, including windows 98 and windows xp. It costs £40 for the standard version and £60 for the deluxe version.

In a different vein, but potentially entertaining nonetheless, is the Signal Simulation Centre from Signalling Centre Software.

  • You basically have to manage the signalling on certain lines, such as Birmingham New Street or London Kings Cross.
  • Free Trial Downloads are available to give you a 60-minute taster.
  • You can even design your own timetables, based on a different era maybe, and share them with others
