The Track Championships took place at the Manchester Velodrome on Sunday April 9th. It was for Heather her first ride at the Velodrome and for the Lads their first track competition. To come away with a bronze medal each was a remarkable achievement and the team thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the event.

UEA CC finish 14th in Team Championship Very windy conditions made it a tough ride. Still we had some good results, notably Heather Wells who adds to her growing BUSA medal collection with a SILVER at this event. The other UEA CC riders were Andy Tyler, David Bailey, Adam Wild, Paul Woodhouse and Chris Bennell.

      Jo 30:51 (110)(w)

As you can see from the above results, Andy (Road Rash) Tyler had an absolute stormer. This time becomes the club record and beats Andy's previous best by over a minute. We look forward to seeing what he can do over 25 and 50 miles in the up-coming BUSA events.
