Energy Saving Grants: The Energy Saving Trust has all sorts of up to date information on energy saving and generation, including grants that may be available. They have a section for homeowners.

Clear Skies provides grants for small-scale wind and hydro systems, ground source heat pumps, water and space heating, solar and biomass. Householders can claim 30% of the installed cost, to a maximum of £4,000, and can also apply for separate grants for two different technologies. Their helpline is 08702 430 930. In Scotland, follow the SCHRI Process.
