Baby Wrens

By 03 Jul 2010 | Comment
We've had a nest of wrens in a home-made nesting box attached to the wall outside our kitchen, and buried inside a honeysuckle. There were around five chicks in total. One of the chicks hopped out and spent a day hopping around the garden chirping very loudly. It was basically ignored by the parents, who continued to feed the chicks in the nest. We did try to repatriate the chick with the nest, to no avail.
